Walking Safaris

Walking Safaris

Our walking safaris offer a blend of wildlife, local culture and adventure. We visit local villages and interact with the local people and in the process gain privileged insights into their cultures.

We visit unspoilt environments, taking every care to ensure our activities do not compromise the integrity of the environment. By driving less and walking more, we reduce pollution and other activities that are deleterious to the environment.

Ecotourism Principles:

We define ecotourism as ‘responsible travel to natural areas that conserves the environment and improves the well-being of local people’. We strive to implement and participate in ecotourism activities and abide by the following principles:

  • Minimize impact.
  • Build environmental and cultural awareness and respect.
  • Provide positive experiences for both visitors and hosts.
  • Provide direct financial benefits for conservation.
  • Provide financial benefits and empowerment for local people.
  • Raise sensitivity to the host countries' political, environmental, and social climate.
  • Support international human rights and labour agreements

Sustainable Tourism – Our goal is to ensure that development meets the needs of the present tourists and locals while protecting future opportunities.
